Experience Full-Service with KLH
Since 1982, KLH Engineers, Inc. has provided engineering services to municipalities and municipal authorities in Western Pennsylvania. KLH’s services include water, wastewater, storm water, and general municipal engineering. We are not pursuing developer, heavy highway, commercial or industrial work, and therefore our staff’s specialized expertise is focused solely on municipal work. Our experience is varied and includes planning, design, permitting, construction administration, and operation of municipal water and wastewater facilities.
Our firm is unique in that we provide full-service capabilities, in-house, which are focused solely on the needs of municipalities and municipal water and wastewater authorities. Our firm is comprised of 60 individuals including: a staff of 25 engineers (15 of which are licensed Professional Engineers), a computer aided drafting and design department of 13, a full-time surveying crew headed by a licensed Professional Land Surveyor, and 17 construction inspectors. We handle all aspects of design, permitting, and construction administration, in-house.

Large enough to provide, small enough to personalize
- As a privately held firm, we are not responsible to answer to stockholders, an outside Board of Directors, or a voting body, all of whom may have interests which run counter to our pursuit of optimal engineering solutions.
- Communication within our firm is simple and direct. Ideas need not pass-through layers of hierarchy, generating additional cost to the client along the way. We like to say we have the “shortest distance from the idea to the drawing paper.”
