Project Engineer

KLH Engineers, Inc. is looking to fill the role of Project Engineer. Qualified candidates should have a B.S. in Civil, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering and preferably have their E.I.T. Work will be focused on KLH’s Water, Wastewater, and Municipal Clients. Positions are open for candidates with zero to five years of experience.


Municipal Project Manager

KLH Engineers, Inc. is looking to fill the role of Project Manager. Qualified candidates should have a B.S. in Civil Engineering, be a licensed P.E. in the State of Pennsylvania, and should have a minimum of five years experience. The project manager’s role will include project planning, design, permitting, project finance assistance, and construction phase services for KLH Municipal clients. The project manager will be KLH’s representative to Municipal clients. This role will include attending monthly public meetings.


Hydraulic Engineer

KLH Engineers, Inc. is looking to fill the role of Hydraulic Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a B.S. in Civil Engineering (or a related field), M.S. preferred, and a minimum of three years’ experience with computer modeling of water distribution systems as well as sanitary, combined and storm sewer systems. Strong academic background in hydraulics and hydrology is preferred. Candidate is required to be highly proficient with data analysis and computer modeling. Candidate must be proficient at speaking and writing in English. Experience with InfoWater and/or EPANET for water distribution system modeling is preferred. Experience with InfoSWMM, PCSWMM, and/or EPA SWMM for sewer modeling is preferred.


Construction Inspector

Role and Responsibilities

  • Regular interaction with property owners, contractors, clients, and engineers
  • Perform on-site inspections in determining if work is in accordance with contract documents.
  • Written reporting of operations, measurements and installed quantities.
  • Attend job meetings, such as pre-construction conferences, progress meetings, job conferences and other project-related meetings.
  • Respond to project emergencies on behalf of the project manager at the direction of the project manager.
  • Review applications for payment with Contractor for compliance with the established procedure for their submission and forward with recommendations to project manager.
  • Comply with all company safety policies and rules.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of construction observation experience on water/wastewater infrastructure projects.
  • Ability to read and interpret specifications and plans.
  • Ability to communicate ideas and technical information to staff, supervisors and clients in a professional manner both verbally as well as with clear, concise written correspondence.
  • Valid driver’s license and dependable mode of transportation.
  • Ability to work well independently and on a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $24.00 – $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
