Project Description:
KLH completed a hydraulic model of a portion of the Borough watershed in order to size a major collector storm sewer to eliminate roadway flooding. The Project consisted of installation of a 48″ storm sewer pipe, a new outfall sewer to the Ohio River, sidewalks and handicapped access ramps.
The success of the project was demonstrated by the elimination of basement flooding in the area through the construction of increased pipe sizes and new catch basins.
