In the summer of 2019, KLH Engineers was retained by the Bradys Run Sewer Authority as their consulting engineer. The Authority owns and operates a trickling filter wastewater treatment plant rated at 2.13 MGD and eight (8) pump stations located in Beaver County. KLH’s first assignment was to complete a detailed infrastructure assessment and evaluation of the Authority’s system. In the fall of 2019 the Clairton Municipal Authority completed the Phase I portion of their wastewater expansion project. This project is a requirement of the Department of Environmental Protection Long Term Control Plan compliance. The work included a new influent pump station and headworks facility rated for a peak capacity of 38.23 MGD. The project also included new digester and process air blowers along with new dewatering facilities. The project was completed on-time and on-budget.
